1.    THE GIVEAWAY:  Each day that you visit LiveCity Vancouver at one of its two sites:
(a)    LiveCity Yaletown (David Lam Park ) [www.livecityvancouver.ca] between February 12 – 28, 2010
(b)    LiveCity Downtown (Georgia St. and Cambie St ) [www.livecityvancouver.ca] between February 13 – 28 and March 12 – 14 and March 18 – 21
you may be selected to receive a pair of tickets to an event at either the 2010 Olympic Winter Games or the Paralympic Winter Games (collectively the “2010 Winter Games”).  No entry, admission fee or purchase necessary.

2.    SELECTION PROCESS:  At the beginning of each day, we will select (but not publicly disclose) for each site, a gate, a time of day and a number, which will determine the person to be given the tickets on that day.  For example:  LiveCity Downtown, 50th person through gate 2 after 4:30 pm on February 16.

3.    ELIGIBILITY:  You must be 13 years or older to be eligible to receive the tickets, be on the awarding site to claim the tickets, and be willing to be presented to the public by our emcee as having been selected to receive the tickets.  Recipients who are less than 18 years old will have the tickets awarded in the name of their parents or guardians.  Not eligible to participate in this Giveaway are employees and contractors, or their family members, of:  (i) the City of Vancouver, (ii) Karyo Edelman, (iii) LiveCity Vancouver sponsors or partners, (iv), the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games ("VANOC”), or (v) the COC or the IOC.

4.    GAMES TICKETS:  Given away daily at each LiveCity Vancouver site will be a pair of tickets to an event that we select at either the 2010 Olympic Winter Games or the Paralympic Winter Games, which have a normal retail value of between $30 and $1,550 per pair.  Tickets are provided “As Is”, with no representations or guarantees made about the Olympic events.  Tickets to the 2010 Winter Games, whether awarded as a prize and/or are included as part of a promotion, must be accepted as awarded and are subject to all of the applicable terms and conditions prescribed to such tickets from time to time by VANOC.  Such terms and conditions are contained in the “Ticket License Agreement” (which can be reviewed at www.vancouver2010.com), on the back of the physical ticket (once issued) and include prohibitions against any use of the ticket in connection with any commercial promotion or contest (without the consent of VANOC) and the unauthorized sale of the ticket in excess of face value of the ticket.  By accepting tickets as a prize and/or as part of a promotion, the holder is deemed to have accepted all of the applicable terms and conditions.

5.    PROMOTIONAL APPEARANCE:  Your accepting a pair of tickets indicates:
(a)    consent to our photographing and filming you, and publicly using your name, address, likeness and voice for LiveCity Vancouver promotional purposes, without compensation; and
(b)    agreeing to these Rules.

6.    CONDITIONS:
(a)    Only one pair of tickets is given away, at each site, each day of the LiveCity Vancouver events.
(b)    No ticket exchanges will be made for different Olympic dates, events, seats, locations, or cash redemption.
(c)    Any expenses of attending at the LiveCity Vancouver sites, or the Olympic events, are your responsibility.
(d)    If any selected recipient does not accept the tickets, then they will be handed out to a visitor chosen by us.
(e)    This Giveaway may be delayed, modified, suspended or terminated at any time due to unforeseen circumstances or conditions beyond our control.
(f)    Giveaway decisions and rules interpretations made by us are final and binding.

7.    LIABILITY RELEASE:  All recipients of tickets hereby release the City of Vancouver and its marketing and advertising agencies, and their respective employees, agents and representatives, from any and all responsibility or liability for:  (i) any delay, rescheduling, suspension or termination of this Giveaway or the Olympic events, (ii) errors or difficulties in administration of this Giveaway or the selection or announcement of ticket recipients, and (iii) injury or damage caused by participation in this Giveaway, even if due to their negligence or fault.
